  • Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Architecture and Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP using services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Load Balancing.
  • Cloud-Native Applications Design: Develop architecture design and guidelines for the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of cloud-native applications, ensuring optimization for security, performance, and scalability with services such as App Engine, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
  • API Management: Implement secure API interfaces and granular access control using IAM, RBAC, and API Gateway for workloads running on GCP.
  • Workload Migration: Lead the migration of on-premises workloads to GCP, ensuring minimal downtime, data integrity, and smooth transitions.
  • CI/CD: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Cloud Source Repositories, and Artifact Registry to automate development and deployment processes.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery, utilizing tools like Google Workspace and Jira.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security, and perform regular audits and tuning.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures using Google Docs and Confluence.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6-12 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering and architecture.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
